Loss is an all too familiar part of life. Grieving is a natural part of the healing process which follows loss. And so it is perfectly natural and healthy to grieve following loss.
However, most people will grieve for a limited period of time before getting on with their lives. Extended grief is unhealthy and can be changed if the client so desires. If a person wishes to move on in life and enjoy the rest of their life while holding pleasant and supportive memories from the past, then it is important to organise the way of thinking to support that.
Just as a room can be arranged to look messy or to look welcoming, similarly the mind and its memories can similarly be organised.
Our intention is for you to leave you with a strong sense of connection with your loved one, rather than an empty space.
